Alright, admittedly that’s a bit of an oversimplification, but LifeStorage is dedicated to not just helping out its tenants, communities, and charity organizations, but also in giving back to the planet. We’re holding our Third Annual Earth Day Shredding event at our facilities in Aurora, Mokena, and Wrigleyville on Friday April 20th and Saturday April 21st, from 9am to 5pm each day. LifeStorage Aurora and LifeStorage Mokena are offering half-price shredding for each file box brought in, costing only $5 per box. LifeStorage Wrigleyville is offering 20% off normal shredding costs per box.
LifeStorage Libertyville is also offering the shredding services on Saturday April 21st. In addition, they will also be holding an Electronics Recycling Event on that day as well. Interested parties can bring in computers and computer peripherals (keyboards, mice, and monitors), televisions, stereo equipment, gaming consoles, microwaves, and more. They’re even recycling bicycles at the event too!
These events provide anyone who’s interested the perfect opportunity to properly dispose of your unwanted electronics devices, to create a better piece of mind by having your secure documents shredded and securely handled, and also help the planet through the recycling efforts. The shredding is affordable and will help business owners and individuals free up space and ensure their sensitive paperwork doesn’t fall into the wrong hands, helping eliminate the possibility of data fraud and identity theft.
It’s a win-win situation for everyone involved, and LifeStorage helps celebrate Earth Day in a way that will make everyone feel like they’ve done their part!
